Profilskaparen will be Hässlers Scandinavia AB
The profile creator has shared the enthusiasm for packaging production with the Czech bookbinders Hässlers s.r.o. for almost a decade. Our co-operation has become more and more extensive over the years and at the end of 2023 / beginning of 2024 we became part of the new Hässlers CZ s.r.o. Now we also change our name to Hässlers Scandinavia AB!
The Swedish roots of Hässler
The name Hässlers has a solid Swedish origin. Knut Hässlers Bokbinderi was founded in Stockholm in 1902 by Knut Hässler, which was then continued by his son Åke. In 1998 the bookbindery merged with Fälths Tryckeri to become Fälth & Hässlers and finally in 2002 Knut Hässlers Handbokbinderi became part of BTJ Sverige AB. After a century of traditional craftsmanship in bookbinding, more modern times called for more modern methods and a broader approach.
When Andreas Wigerman, CEO of Profilskaparen, met the Czech architect Martin Patera in 2014, they discovered a shared and genuine interest in packaging production. This set the course for the next chapter in Hässler's history.
In 2018, it was decided to move Knut Hässler's Handbokbinderi to the Czech Republic and thus become Hässlers s.r.o, partly owned by Profilskaparen AB. An extensive and demanding project that, despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, landed well in Roblín near Prague.
When Profilskaparen became part of Hässlers CZ s.r.o. at the end of 2023, it was a natural culmination of our common goals and the commitment of everyone who brought the new Hässlers brand to life.
Profile maker's production unit moved to Czech Republic
The decision to move Profilskaparen's production unit from Sweden to the Czech Republic was not easy. Since 1983, we have produced packaging solutions in Farsta and Skogås, but the new base offered extraordinary advantages that also raised our capacity to a new level, which ultimately tipped the scales. By the end of 2023, all our machines had therefore been moved to the Czech Republic.
The profile creator's knowledgeable project managers, our excellent design and construction studio, our fantastic showroom and large warehouse can of course be found as before at Lyftkransvägen 14 in Länna.
Hässlers Scandinavia AB
By the end of 2023, the new organisation Hässlers CZ s.r.o. was ready and the new brand became Hässlers.
Profilskaparen AB is now changing its name to Hässlers Scandinavia AB with the same organisation number and the same focus on premium packaging as before.
