The Profile Creator Privacy Policy describes how we work to comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The policy is intended to show how the Profile Creator safeguards the rights and obligations of our contacts and of people who participate in our registers. We want to clarify how we process personal data and how people we contact in our work can exercise their rights.

Processing of personal data by the profile creator

Background information

The profile creator processes the personal data of various people (e.g. names and contact details) for the main purpose of being able to keep in touch and conduct our business activities as agreed with our clients. Therefore, access to certain contact details of people who agree that we can contact them over time and recurrently to be able to see previous projects, work and also save information such as materials, editions and any production notes for previous productions.

We also process personal data to handle enquiries, to send information in newsletters to interested parties and to correct inaccurate data. We process as little personal data as necessary and we do not store or use data that is highly sensitive to privacy. The data controller at Profilskaparen is Robert Wikman.

What personal data do we process?
The profile creator only processes personal data when we have an agreement to fulfil contractual and legal obligations. The data collected are those used to complete a production, i.e. contact information and information on access and use of certain selected products and services.

How do we get access to personal data?
We use a proprietary database where we store and process personal data after the respective person/customer has initiated a conversation with the Profile Creator via email or call, the person's information such as email, phone, name and production data is stored in the database. In this case, the Profile Creator is the data controller. Persons in our database have the right to have their data deleted from the database. We will then no longer process this personal data or collect new data, provided that it is not necessary to fulfil our obligations under ongoing production or obligations under contract and law. Individuals in our database also have the right to request a register extract to see what data the Profile Creator has saved about them.

What information do we disclose?
We do not disclose information to others about who is in our customer register/database unless the individual in question requests the information.

Is personal data processed in a secure manner?
All personal data is handled in a secure manner. Only the employee (the Profile Creator) and persons within the company who need the personal data to fulfil their tasks have access to it. In the case of sensitive personal data, we have specific authorisation controls, which provide a higher level of protection. To ensure the accuracy of personal data, we periodically invite the persons included in our database to update and complete their own data when necessary.

When do we disclose personal data?
The profile creator will only disclose personal data if the person has authorised it or if it is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations. In cases where we disclose personal data, we draw up confidentiality agreements and ensure that the personal data is processed in an appropriate manner.

The profile creator would like to send examples of profile solutions produced by the company a few times a year. How long we keep your data

If you post a comment, the comment and its metadata will be saved indefinitely. The reason for this is that we need to be able to find and approve follow-up comments automatically and not queue them for review.
